Description

Handmade Byzantine Icon of Virgin Mary "Mediator of the World" and Jesus Christ.

The Virgin Mary is characterized as "Mediator of the World" as she brought the Son of God into the world and led people on His way. With her mercy and compassion, she creates the link between the divine and the earthly, and advocates for the salvation of people.

Service of the Small Paraklesis

Ode 7. The Heirmos

The bestower of mercy That you bore, O pure Mother, entreat on our behalf;

From sins deliver us, And from the soul's defilement, We who cry out most faithfully: O the God of our fathers, Blessed are You, our God.

The Icon of Virgin Mary "Mediator of the World" is an exact copy of Byzantine art and is created by experienced craftsmen using the method of gold printing where hagiographic leaves of 22 karat gold are applied in detail to decorate the background.

During the final processing, the icon is painted with dark red color around the perimeter and polished with a special varnish to maintain its shine.

It is offered in level or recessed wooden surface and is suitable for wall mounting.
