Description

Peppermint has a long tradition of use in folk medicine and aromatherapy. Peppermint is commonly used to soothe or treat symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, indigestion, irritable bowel, and bloating, although most of these effects have not been adequately demonstrated in human research.

Properties: Antispasmodic, treats irritable bowel syndrome, catarrh of the respiratory tract, and inflammation of the oral mucosa, carminative, cholagogue, antibacterial and secretolytic, cooling action, relieves from muscle pain and nerve pain.

Usage: Add a spoonful of monastic peppermint in 1.5 liters of boiled water. Allow to steep for 6-8 minutes. Drink one cup of tea every morning, noon and evening before every meal!
